Adjudicating
I am an experienced voice adjudicator and since 2005 I have adjudicated 25 music festivals across Canada at the junior and senior levels, in both musical theatre and classical voice categories. I have also served as a vocal adjudicator for NATS competitions, graduating recitals and juries at the university level, and for the Ontario Arts Council performer/producer grants.
My main goal as an adjudicator is to create an environment where performers can learn constructively and supportively. A key tenet of my adjudicating style is efficiency and good time management. My empathy as a teacher is reflected in my adjudicating style, and I aim to create an atmosphere of playfulness and fun with any age group.
